It's All a Matter of Perspective

Today is a day the world has decided to pay respects to a man who on more than one occasion changed the course of direction in the music industry. Michael Jackson (or MJ, as some refer to him) is also considered the “King of Pop.”

In death we begin to view an individual from the eyes of goodness and greatness, but why is it during life we view these same individuals from a completely different perspective? I am generalizing here, but in more cases than not Michael Jackson was definitely put through the ringer when it came to judgments made against him. Did he deserve some of these? Possibly, but it's not my place to judge his actions of the past, nor is it my place to judge another in the present or the future – especially when the actions did not directly relate to me personally or my family.
