Crystal Therapy: Choosing and Managing Crystals


To follow up on the blog posted back in June 2010 entitled “Crystal Therapy: Just the Basics,” I wanted to share with you the following supportive elements when it comes to continuing to learn to use and work with crystals in your daily life. We need to remember that crystals are not static or inert rocks; rather, they vibrate with natural energy that is believed to have great healing potential. However, in order to properly harness the energy of crystals, it is important not only to pick the right ones but you also to know how to cleanse and maintain them.

Choosing Crystals
In crystal therapy, stones are placed either on the body or kept in a room so their energy can be used to heal various physical and mental ailments. You need to keep these two factors in mind while choosing your crystals.

Crystal Therapy: Just the Basics



As part of our growing panel of experts, we’ve been honored to have a trained crystalogiest among them: Rosemary Beam. If you have not read Ms. Beam’s recent blogs regarding Crystals and Chakras, then we highly recommend them as great reading opportunities.

We have been embracing the use of Crystal Therapy for a while and actively using crystals in sessions with clients. Therapy in Transition is not alone in embracing this popular form of alternative healing. Crystal Therapy is non-invasive, and people who embrace it swear by the healing power of crystals. Anyone can practice simple crystal healing techniques if open to receiving some basic information, like what crystals to use, how to choose your crystal, and how to cleanse them. We wanted to share from our personal experience and perspective which stones have supported us.
