Intentions

Today's blog posting:

Over the last few weeks I've been revisiting the purpose of why I began facilitating the educational seminars. To date they have been successful, although not exactly what I had envisioned – or so I thought. The reason for hosting the seminars was to get my name out there, provide a service to the community, and have a way in which I was also able to give back.

But was I really being successful? Did I really hold the limited vision of only one or two people for attendance? What is my true intention behind these seminars? What fears might be holding me back from receiving full attendance?

The Value of a Business Plan? Priceless!

Recently I was fortunate to receive a free copy of Palo Alto's Business Plan Pro software. When I picked up my free code on July 01, I knew having this software was going to be important. But it wasn't until this week I realized just how important!

I have worked on creating business plans for other organizations with the purpose of needing to raise financial capital and impress investors. My perspective regarding completing a business plan was definitely that it is a good exercise for companies of all sizes at no matter what stage they happen to be. It was from this premise I began "officially" working on my own.
