Career Success Depends on Knowing Your Learning Style


Knowledge = Savings
Knowing how best you learn can support your overall success in life. Not sure how accurate of a statement this is? Well, consider when you are trying to learn something at work. Depending on how it is being taught to you, the learning curve could be minutes, hours or days and even weeks. Translate this into a dollar figure. From a company perspective, if you are one of the few who learns in a manner in which the material is taught results in you learning quickly, the company recognizes this as a potential cost savings and provides you with further training. This results in increased chances of advancement over those who perhaps learn through a different approach than what is used.

Processing = Advancement
All of us have different ways of processing information. By understanding what information transmission mechanism works best for us and our children, we can boost our professional performance and our children’s’ academic performance.
